AB likes to think of his paintings as souvenirs of a past time. He implements the speed of intuitive thoughts on unprepared canvas, embracing mark making, shuffling around symbols, reconstructing fragments of a puzzle.

 

The canvas becomes a space where the intersection of personal identity and cultural heritage converges, fostering a profound connection between the tangible strokes and the intangible threads of his roots. Mark making becomes the language through which he uncover and communicate the untold stories, blending deliberate strokes with the spontaneous, capturing the essence of unconsciousness.
