𝔸𝕣𝕔𝕙𝕚𝕡𝕖𝕝 is an engine for arts & culture in the emerging neighbourhood and aims to settle there permanently.

On Den Dam, where the city is transforming and new plans for the future are being born, the Mini Museum takes you on a journey through the past, present and future of this special neighbourhood. Here, in De Groene Poort, water will once again take centre stage: ‘t Schijn will be uncovered in the ring park, and in the Lobroekdok we will once again be able to swim, just as the boatmen once did.
Water as a binding agent, as a reminder, and as a promise for the future.
‘In den tijd staken we paling met ‘t forket (before, we used to catch eel with a fork - old way of catching eel),’ says Bob, a Damwijker who proudly shares his story. The memories of the hard work of boatmen, butchers and dockers are deeply rooted in the streets of this district.
In the Mini Museum, you will discover these stories through photographs, art and a digital time capsule, as well as through animations that interweave the rich history of Den Dam with the future vision
of De Groene Poort.

RENDEZ-VOUS
At the former industrial Engie site on Lobroekdok, 47 artists and studio owners present their work in duos or collectives.
Interdisciplinary collaborations create a rich dialogue that enhances the diversity of these artists.
Rendez-vous is a kaleidoscope of ideas, techniques and perspectives that complement and challenge each other. It is an experiment in collaboration, with artists interacting with each other and searching for a common narrative or contrast.
This exhibition invites visitors not only to experience the artworks, but also to discover the symbiosis, interactions and relationships between them. Rendez-vous is an encounter, a moment of connection - between the artists themselves and between the artists and their audience.
More than an exhibition, Rendez-vous is a meeting place: a space for discovery, dialogue and forging new connections.
