Alec De Bruyn

Alec De Bruyn (Antwerp) is a musician, composer and sound designer. He spreads his different interests over several projects: in bands as a musician and performer, as a composer for theatre and as a sound designer for film and audiovisual projects. Usually these separate functions overlap.

He has released several albums with Undskyld, performs as a musician within several collectives, and released the first tracks of the new project The Payola Kid. He has worked with theatre groups Zonzo Compagnie, ROESTgroep, kunstZ and Rataplan, and with filmmakers Adams Mensah, Tom Viaene and Mario Leko. Currently he is researching and working together with specific artists, such as Miroslav Kochanek, Charlotte Goesaert.

Alec De Bruyn (Antwerpen) is een muzikant, componist en sound designer. Hij verdeelt zijn verschillende interesses over verschillende projecten: in bands als muzikant en performer, als componist voor theater en als sound designer voor film en audiovisuele projecten. En meestal overlappen deze afzonderlijke functies elkaar.

Hij heeft verschillende albums uitgebracht met Undskyld, speelt als muzikant in verschillende collectieven en is bezig met de eerste releases van zijn nieuwe project The Payola Kid. Hij heeft vaak samengewerkt met theatergroepen Zonzo Compagnie, ROESTgroep, kunstZ en Rataplan, en met filmmakers Adams Mensah, Tom Viaene en Mario Leko. Momenteel is hij bezig met artistiek onderzoek en samenwerkingen met specifieke artiesten, zoals Miroslav Kochanek en Charlotte Goesaert.
