Precy Samba Numbi
Precy Numbi is a visual artist, sculptor and performer who uses his art to raise public awareness of contemporary environmental and social issues. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts of Kinshasa, Numbi is politically committed to human rights through militant performances in public spaces.
In his works and performances, Precy Numbi works themes of resistance,
human resilience and environmental degradation. He uses recycled materials to create poetic films, analog characters, living sculptures and contemporary masks. His works are pieces of heritage: they are made with yesterday's goods. Which have become today's trash and, perhaps, the hope of tomorrow.

Precy has been inspired from an early age by the superheroes of American
movies. He embodies his own creations to become himself a full-fledged hero.
His job is to help others discover the creative value that way he tries to shed light on the condition of modern man, who thinks he is detached from the mage consequences. Under the identity of robot sapiens kimbalambala, he is committed to helping his community from the challenges linked to colonial memories and outside pollution. Through his groundbreaking journeys he challenges established norms and reminds everyone that it is man is who has the power to destroy the past projects he makes, consumes and discards.
Through his work, Precy alerts us to the signals of nature and the planet.
His art exposes the folly of our materialistic societies and denounce and encourages viewers to become aware of the consequences of our consumerism. His creations invite on suit to think deeply about our current world, our lifestyle and the choices we must make to work together build a more sustainable future.
