GROEPSTENTOONSTELLING
Een radio afstemmen – tussen de zenders door bevind je je in een mysterieuze grijze zone van voortdurende, breedspectrumgeluiden, waar witte ruis bruggen slaat tussen een hiphopnummer aan de ene kant en een klassiek stuk aan de andere kant, een plek om even stil te staan, na te denken en een tijdje te blijven, net voordat je een keuze maakt.
De groepstentoonstelling ‘De stilte tussen twee gedachten’ richt zich op het cruciale moment in het hart en de geest van elke kunstenaar, net voordat een idee zich openbaart. Aan het creëren gaan verveling, dromen en observeren vooraf. Wanneer we nadenken over specifieke ontmoetingen in de wereld om ons heen, kunnen we ons soms plotseling verbonden voelen met het geheel. Hoe vertalen kunstenaars deze persoonlijke en poëtische momenten van helderheid? En hoe belangrijk is het om afgeleid en vervreemd te raken van het dagelijks leven om een ander perspectief te krijgen.
Deze groepstentoonstelling probeert de aandacht te vestigen op het proces van het maken van werk en de tijd die nodig is om de eigen gedachten te verwerken voordat werk ontstaat uit een soort drang. Een behoefte om een abstract gebaar in de fysieke wereld te brengen, wat mogelijk resulteert in kunstwerken.T
De tentoonstelling zal ook geopend zijn ten laatste op 30 mei 2026 van 14.00 tot 18.00 uur
en op afspraak.

THE SILENCE BETWEEN TWO THOUGHTS

Tuning a radio - in-between stations you find yourself in an uncanny grey
zone of constant broad-spectrum sounds, one where white noise creates
bridges between a hip-hop track on the one side and a classical piece on
the other, a place to pause, reflect and stay for a little while, just before
selecting.
The group-exhibition ‘The silence between two thoughts’ is focused on the pivotal
moment in the heart and mind of each artist, just before an idea reveals itself.
Creating is preceded by boredom, dreaming and observing. When pondering
about specific encounters in our surrounding world we sometimes can suddenly
feel connected to it all. How do artists translate these personal and poetic
moments of clarity? And how important is it to get distracted and alienated from
daily life to get another perspective.
This group-exhibition attempts to focus on the process of making work and the time
needed while processing one’s thoughts before work is created out of a kind of
urgency. A need to bring an abstract gesture in the physical world possibly
resulting in artworks.
The exhibition will also be open until May 30, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and by appointment.
