Over het evenement
BabelFestival is a free summer festival at the BabelBühne. It is a green oasis in the fringes of the city, with a bamboo stage, grandstand & sun loungers around a well.
Under the motto 'Hek van den Dam' you are assured of loosening your hips and sultry summer tunes with Ramsy and Geert.

Ramsy and Geert often work together in the latin project'Anima Amici'.
For the BabelBühne they use a cheerful continuous program of digestible jazz.
Live loops are not shunned, nor intimacy, danceability, classical, groove, pop,...
Both the introvert and the extrovert will be served.
In the synergy, Ramsy is rather the die-hard jazz guitarist.
Geert will regularly be able to choose between bass and guitar on stage.
Ramsy plays different styles, but his heart goes out to acoustic jazz.
He developed a style rooted in tradition, but with an open ear for the new sounds of today.
