17:30h -Screening short film by Ines Ballesteros, Michela Dal Brollo and Alicja Nowiczov

Screening of the movie “The Last Summer” (2023, 9’) shot in Międzytorze in Poland in the context of an artistic residency at Halo Kultura. The short movie will close with a debate.

"This short movie follows up an in situ exploration of fourteen days, where the artists take part in the relational dynamics of the place, using a tool called cum-panis, a self-made portable pizza oven. THE LAST SUMMER becomes a testimony of a place that is in contrast to the frenetic life of its margins, a place where life moves in slow motion as if it is waiting for its end. The story of Międzytorze is the same story of millions of other places in the world. Within a few years, the wild cherry trees and spontaneous plants will be replaced by skyscrapers and its inhabitants will be forced to emigrate, defining a new periphery."

Please let us know if you are coming so we can calculate the amount of food, you can write us at: infolivingequipment@gmail.com

*Living equipment is a collaborative project developed by Michela Dal Brollo and Inés Ballesteros since 2019. The Living Equipment grows as a set of portable relational and conceptual devices used as tools to do site-specific artistic research and generate occasions of encounter and exchange in public space.
